Ouya is one of the most successful, if not the single most successful Kickstarter projects. Now the guys behind this new, little gaming console report, that they've been able to raise another 15 Million US-Dollar in fundings, which means that they will come up with even more amazing features for the Ouya.
When Ouya first appeared on Kickstarter, the guys behind the project wanted to get 950'000 US-Dollars in fundings. In the end they managed to get a whopping 8.5 Million US-Dollars. Meanwhile even investors are backing Ouya, which means that they have a lot of confidence, that Ouya is going to be a great success. Comanies like Kleiner Perkins & Buyers, Mayfield Fund, Shasta Ventures and Occam as well as NVIDIA are backing Ouya now.

It is especially interesting to see that NVIDIA is investing money in Ouya. Since NVIDIA didn't score any deal with neither Sony's upcoming PlayStation 4 nor Microsoft's Xbox 720, the green fraction might see a chance to make sure that Ouya will always use NVIDIA SoC's in their console.
