Call of Duty: Ghosts to use new engine

Activision has confirmed the next Call of Duty: Ghosts that will be based on an all new next generation engine. Developed by Infinity Ward, the Call of Duty: Ghosts is scheduled to be released on November 5th in North America.
According to an earlier report, the Call of Duty: Ghosts will be coming to Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC as well as both Microsoft's and Sony's next generation consoles while, according to current reports, the Wii U version is not planned.

The report also suggest that the COD: Ghosts will be based on an all new next generation engine and although the details are still unknown, it appears that this is a new in-house developed engine.

Activision is still keeping tight wraps around the new Call of Duty: Ghosts title but promises to reveal more at Microsoft's next-gen Xbox event scheduled for May 21st.
