Point of View announces Mobii 1325 tablet

13.3-inch with dual-core Cortex A9 chip

Point of View has announced a new addition to its Mobii line of tablets, the 13.3-inch Mobii 1325. Based around a 13.3-inch 1280x800 screen and paired up with a dual-core Cortex A9-based chip, the new Mobii 1325 aimed at those that prefer bigger display over portability.
Point of View Mobii 1325 is built around a 13.3-inch 1280x800 TFT capacitive 10-point touchscreen ending up with 337.5 x 230 x 12.5 mm dimensions and 1350g weight. The heart of it is the dual-core Cortex A9 chip clocked at 1.6GHz and paired up with Quad Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It will be available in 8 or 16GB storage memory versions, both expandable via microSD card slot.

The rest of the specs and features include, 2-megapixel front and rear cameras, 802.11bgn WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity as well as headphone, two micro USB 2.0 and mini HDMI 1.4 ports. The good side of the story is that it comes with a rather hefty 10.000mAh battery that should provide an impressive battery life despite the large screen.

Unfortunately, the price or the availability date have not been announced but according to our sources, the Mobii 1325 should go for around €300 for the 8GB version and around €320 for the 16GB one depending on the region and should already start to appear on retail/e-tail shelves around Europe.
