It appears that this year E3 Expo scheduled to start on June 11th in Los Angeles will actually be without a big press conference from Nintendo.
The times are changing and unlike most, if not every E3 before, Nintendo has announced that it will not host a big press conference during E3 Expo but will rather host a few smaller events that will be focused on software lineup for the US market. Nintendo noted that its plan is to "announce and have people experience our software" and that it will use E3 to establish a new presentation style.
The decision comes as Nintendo thinks that different people demand different types of information and in order to appeal to all of them, it has to stick with smaller events. Our guess is that Nintendo simply does not have enough material, since it will not launch any new hardware, for a big press event and thus smaller ones make more sense.
