According to a post over at The Verge and information coming from other sources, Microsoft might have pushed back the first next-generation Xbox event from originally rumored April to May.
According to earlier rumors, Microsoft originally planned an event for April 24th but The Verge is now reporting that the event has been pushed back to May 21st. Microsoft apparently plans to focus on providing very first details on the next-generation Xbox, codename Durango, and we suspect that the event could be quite similar to the one held by Sony for Playstation 4.
As rumored earlier, Microsoft's new Xbox is planed to show up later this year while official unveiling should be scheduled for E3 fair in early June. It will most likely heavily depend on Windows 8 and, according to recent details, will require an always-on internet connection.
