Earlier today we came across two pics from a new upcoming high end motherboard from MSI regarding Intel's Z77 chipset. Do you like the design of the MSI Lightnings graphis cards? Then you will like this new motherboard too. Let's see what we've got!
At the first look on the PCB of the motherboard you can see that it is labeled MS-7751 Ver 3:0. According to MSI's naming scheme we can guess that it's very likely that these are pics from a Z77A-GD75 or Z77A-GD85. Because the MS-7751 Ver 1:0 is the Z77A-GD55 and the MS-7751 Ver 2:0 is the Z77A-GD65.
Regarding the motherboard itself we can see that it features MSI's Military Class III components, one PCIe x16 and two others working at x8, four PCIe x4 and a cooler close to the main PCIe slot which in most of the cases is to cool a PLX chip.
Very interesting is the colors scheme which seems to be the same as the Lightnings graphics cards from the manufacturer, yellow on black components and PCB.
According to our source we will know more about this motheroard as it will be shown at Computex, which starts in 5 days. We were also told that the next set of pics will be released on June 4th. So stay tuned, we will keep you updated.
UpdateLooks like MSI wants to name this motherboard
Big Bang ZPower which is from our point of view a nonsens. Waiting for the official press release.
