AMD Adrenalin 18.7.1 driver up for grabs

Yes, it is July - already

AMD has yet released the next iteration of their Adrenalin software package aka drivers. Meanwhile the versioning is at 18.7.1 and some rather beefy - 28 percent - performance improvement for “Earthfall” has been realized in combination with Radeon RX Vega 56 graphics cards.

Also the Radeon RX 580 8GB at 1440p and the RX 560 4GB at 1080p benefit significantly. The frame rates measured are supposed to be no less than 27 percent higher.

As always some pesticide has been developed to kill a few bugs, getting rid of random crashes in “Fortnite Season 5”, when throwing stars is being rendered. Apart from that “Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice” is not suffering for irritating flickering anymore. Other than that some display modes not appearing in Windows have been fixed, Corel Draw now performs better, and a black screen issue during the boot-up process has been addressed. Furthermore AMD has dealt with a problem where memory clocks remained too high when refresh-rates or resolutions were changed.
