Coffee Lake clock speeds revealed

Confirmed by Intel

The number of rumors regarding Coffee Lake that are making it through these days is quite impressive. It's not been long ago that we've last written about alleged clock speeds of Intel's upcoming 9th Gen processors but already today there is new information on the entire upcoming lineup. This time the information comes directly from Intel Ark.

According to the latest rumors the Intel Core i5-9600K is supposed to reach up to 4.5GHz clock speed, when only a single core is under load. Compared to the current Core i5-8600K this is a 200MHz increase. Apart from that, the base clock is set to 3.7 GHz that is 100MHz more the current version. The Core i5-9600 has the same base clock of the Core i5-8600, and the max turbo frequency is a bit higher on the new model.

It looks like the upcoming series is just a refresh of the current Coffee Lake 8th generation. Below you can find more details about the upcoming models. At the moment there isn't any details about the Core i7 SKUs.: Videocardz
