Phanteks adds sub-brand MetallicGear

Four new case models

At Computex 2018, Phanteks has announced the MetallicGear sub-brand. MetallicGear make its debuts at Computex with its new line of Neo series of cases. The lineup includes four models and they should come with a rather affordable price tag.

There are several common points in these chassis. For example they are all equipped with tempered glass side panels, they sport aluminum and steel chassis and water cooling support. According to the specification table, the main difference between this three models regard the size. MetallicGear has created a case for every motherboard form factor. For example the Neo is compatible with ATX motherboard, NEO Micro with micro-ATX motherboard and, Neo Mini with mini-ITX models.

Furthermore the company has created a slightly modified version of the Neo Mini. The difference between the Neo Mini and the Neo-G Mini reside in the front panel design and the orientation of the motherboard. While the Neo Mini comes with a conventional vertical orientation, the Neo-G Mini sports a horizontal orientation of the motherboard. At the moment there aren't many details regarding this cases, but we are sure that Phanteks/MetallicGear will add them to the official website quite soon.

Price wise, the Neo should cost $99.99 USD, Neo Micro should be available for $84.99 USD and Neo Mini costs around $69.99 USD.
