AMD might release two more high-performance mobile APU

Ryzen-H is just around the corner

Yesterday we posted a report which showcased some leaked information regarding AMD Ryzen 7 2800H APU. Right after the U-series branding, AMD is going to release the H-series as well where H stands for high-performance mobile part with Radeon Vega graphics.

Videocardz has spotted additional informations inside the 3DMark database about this upcoming APU series. The database shows us a few more details about the Ryzen 5 2600H and Ryzen 7 2800H APUs. The engineering samples spotted on the database feature four cores with eight threads, clocking at 3.40GHz and 3.30GHz base clock respectively. At the moment there isn't any information regarding the boost clock frequency. Furthermore the chip should come with a rather low TDP since it's designed for mobile PCs.

The scores show that these two new APUs have been tested inside a HP system called the 84EF. At this time it's hard to understand if this test system is a future mobile product or desktop test platform. With Ryzen-H, AMD can offer a reasonable level of gaming performance at a low cost, like existing Ryzen 5 2400G and Ryzen 3 2200G APUs on desktop side.
