With 240 Hz refresh rate

ASUS has updated their gaming monitor lineup with a new display which goes by the name ROG Strix XG248Q. This monitor sports a 24-inch panel with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Apart from that it features Aura RGB lighting effect.

As we already mentioned the ROG Strix XG248Q monitor is going to be equipped with a 24-inch panel and 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. On the connector side of things there is one HDMI 1.4 connector, one DisplayPort 1.2 and two HDMI 2.0 ports. The display is based on an TN panel with 1000:1 contrast ratio and 400 cd/m2 brightness. Since this is a gaming display, ASUS has placed inside AMD FreeSync technology.

The refresh rate is set to 240 Hz and the grey-to-grey response time is 1ms. As we mentioned above, the monitor stand comes with Aura RGB lighting effect capable of working as mood-lighting. The frame looks rather thin and allow for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment. The company didn't reveal pricing but we expect a price close to $450 Dollar.
