If you are looking for a mid-tower case which is compatible with high-end graphics cards, ATX motherboards as well as extensive watercooling setup, Corsair's SPEC-05 enclosure might be just what you've been looking for.
The SPEC-05 is a mid-tower chassis that's been made from SECC and tempered glass. On this case the tempered glass is used on the left side while the main chassis is made out steel. This case is an improved version of the SPEC-04 from Corsair that we have reviewed a few months ago. The SPEC-05 measures 433 x 199 x 483mm and classifies as a mid-tower.
On the inside there is space for ATX motherboards. Cooling wise there is space for one big radiator (360mm) that can be mounted in the front and for another radiator (240mm or 280mm) on the top. In addition there is enough space for mid-range tower coolers, which can measure up to 150mm in height. The internal layout is overall simple and straightforward, you can install up to three SSDs or HDDs close to the PSU. At the front of the case, there are two USB 3.0 ports as well as standard HD audio jacks, alongside power and reset switches.
According to Corsair, the SPEC-05 should be available soon for $49.99 USD.
