Noctua released a new 120mm fan called NF-A12x25. It has been designed from the ground in order to deliver the best performance in terms of high-pressure and high-flow applications. Like you can imagine, the NF-A12x25 fan it's the new flagship model.
The NF-A12x25 fan required more than four years of development, a bit more than the previous generation of fans. According to Noctua, with the NF-A12 the company maintains high pressure while delivering a good amount of airflow at same time. In order to achieve this feature, Noctua has improved the materials and construction methods. With the new materials, the company has reduced the blade-to-frame gap to only 0.5mm.
According to Noctua, the new NF-A12 are so powerful that they might even outperform most 140mm fans. The company has created a special 120mm-to-140mm adapter, the NA-SFMA1, that can be used on 140mm radiators. At the moment this new series of fans is available in beige and tan color scheme only. We expect to see a black Chromax edition as well during next months.
The NF-A12x25 is available in three versions. The NF-A12x25 PWM with 4-pin PWM header, NF-A12x25 FLX with 3-pin header and cable adapters and, NF-A12x25 ULN with 3-pin header and low noise adapter. They are all available on Amazon for almost 30 Dollar. The NA-SFMA1 adapter is also available for less than 12 Dollar.
