MSI is well known since they sell PC desktops, laptops, barebones, components and peripherals. However since a couple of days, you can find on official site two cases available as well. MSI has published the specification of the MAG Pylon and MAG Bunker PC cases in its Gaming Gear section.


The MAG Pylon is a mid-tower case that's been made from SECC and tempered glass. On this case the tempered glass is used on three sides while the main chassis is made out steel, basically the glass panels have been wrapped around a standard steel body. It's not the first time that we see a case that adopt this design. The MAG Pylon measures 470 x 218 x 440 mm and weights 8 Kg.

On the inside there is space for ATX motherboards. Cooling wise there is space for one big radiator (360mm) that can be mounted in the front and for another average size in the top. In addition there is enough space for high-end tower coolers, which can measure up to 165mm in height. The internal layout is overall simple and straightforward, you can install up to two HDDs and four SSDs.

The MAG Bunker is basically the same case but with less tempered glass panels. On the MAG Bunker we have only two TG panels and the right hand side panel is just black SPCC steel.
