Acer Predator Orion 9000 sports two GTX 1080 Tis

All models are based on GTX 1080 GPUs

During IFA 2017, Acer has unveiled several new products regarding their Predator series of products. During the show, the company has presented a big and powerful gaming PC named Predator Orion 9000 alongside other gaming products. All the products are being available only now.



According to Acer, the Predator Orion 9000 is the most powerful gaming PC ever made by the company. It can be ordered with up to two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. The most powerful system is based on a Intel X299 motherboard paired with a Intel Core i9-7980XE and up to 128GB of memory. The Orion 9000 comes with several fans installed and separate thermal zones with individual tunnels in order to maintain a good airflow.

The case sports an aggressive design with several RGB LEDs and a big window. In addition there are two handles at the top and wheels at the bottom. Storage wise, the system can be configured with up to two 4TB 3.5" HDDs or four 3TB 2.5" SSDs. Furthermore you can install two 512GB NVMe SSDs. If you don't need 18-core CPU, you might choose the system based on the Intel Core i7-8700K and the aformentioned NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.

Acer backs the Predator Orion 9000 with a two year warranty. Price wise, the base configuration lands at $2500 while the flagship one can hit $8000.
