A few months ago, ASRock has shown their first batch of socket AM4 motherboards for AMD's upcoming Ryzen processors. Some models have been spotted yesterday and more information on the X470 Fatal1ty Gaming K4 motherboard motherboard has surfaced.
The X470 Fatal1ty Gaming K4 features a black PCB with red metal covers. Since the Fatal1ty motherboards usually are the flagship models within ASRock's lineup we don't believe ASRock will make an exception regarding AMD Ryzen. Furthermore this model might be a more budget oriented version of the Fatal1ty X470 Professional Gaming motherboard.
Having a more detailed look at the board we see two PCIe Gen 3.0 slots with steel reinforcements and four PCIe slots. Between the first and the second full-sized PCIe slot there are two slots distance providing plenty of space for graphics cards to breathe in the case of multi-GPU setups. On the storage side we see two M.2 slots and additionally there are six SATA ports.
Apart from that, on their upcoming socket AM4 based motherboard ASRock will offer the same features which can be also be found the vendor's Z370 based boards. For example we find the Creative Sound Blaster Cinema 3 audio solution, debug LED and RGB headers.
