The last iteration of the ultra-thin XPS notebook from Dell has been released about a year ago, while there has been a refresh on a yearly basis. According to the latest informations, the new Dell XPS 15 features Kaby Lake-G CPUs with Radeon RX Vega M graphics.
The Dell XPS 15 has been updated with the latest Kaby Lake-G processors. The new ultra-thin notebooks are offering now Core i5-8305G or Core i7-8705G processors under the hood. Both chips sport four cores and eight threads, and Radeon RX Vega M graphics. The 15-inch display is available in both 1920x1080 and 3840x2160 resolutions with touchscreen options. Both versions of the display feature edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and Dell's Infinity Edge technology.
The memory comes in 8GB and 16GB dual-channel LPDDR4 configurations and they are clocked at 2'400MHz. Storage wise there are several configurations. The cheapest XPS 15 comes with 256GB M.2 SATA SSD, but more expensive models can feature a 256GB, 512GB or 1TB M.2 PCIe SSD. Due to the slim design, there are just two USB Type-C ports and two Thunderbolt 3 ports.
According to Dell, the upcoming XPS 15 2-in-1 will be available around mid-April.
