Intel Q370, QM370 and HM370 chipsets soon available

Embebbed chipsets for 8th Gen Core processors

While we are waiting Intel B360, H370 and H310 chipsets for the consumer market, the embebbed solutions will receive soon new chipsets as well. According to a leak from IBase, the upcoming chipsets compatible with Xeon E and Core processors are just behind the corner.

The embedded computing platform compatible with Coffee Lake CPUs requires Intel Q370, QM370 or HM370 chipsets. With the MB995 motherboard Intel ships either C246 or Q370 chipset, which is compatible with Xeon or Core processor. The motherboard comes with a rather classic layout, there are for example four DDR4 slots and few PCIe slots. In addition, the LGA1151 has been placed in a different direction than consumer motherboards.

The mini-ITX motherboards are called MI995 and they will be available in four variants: MI995VF-Xeon (QM246) for Xeon E3, MI995VF-i7 (QM370) for Core i7, MI995VF-i5 (QM370) for Core i5, and MI995VF-i3 (HM370) for Core i3. This motherboard comes with the CPU embedded in FCBA1440 socket. At the momement there isn't any further information.

As you might know, Intel will add three more chipsets for consumer market as well. During next weeks we should see will the Intel H370 for the mainstream motherboards that is going to replace the current H270 chipset, and two entry-level chipsets which are going to be called B360 and H310.
