LG announces 38WK95C monitor

Featuring 24:10 aspect ratio

LG has expanded its monitor lineup with another model, featuring a 38-inch VA panel with 1800R curved display and 3840 x 1600 resolution. The grey-to-grey response time is 5ms and the refresh rate 75Hz. Apart from that this monitor will be available with variable refresh rate (VRR).


As we already mentioned the 38WK95C monitor have been equipped with a 38-inch panel and 3840 x 1600 pixel resolution. There is one HDMI 2.0 connector, one DisplayPort 1.2 port and one USB 3.1 Type-C connector. The display comes with a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and 300 cd/m2 brightness.

Although LG claims that this display is HDR10 compatible, the specifications of this monitor are not enough for meet the HDR10 requirement. The content will not offer a visual improvement over standard SDR content.

The panel is being kept in position by a solid stand, which allows for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment. At the moment there are no additional details about the global launch.
