ASUS already has a wide portfolio when it comes to graphics cards but that didn't stop them from launching yet another model. The new card goes by the name "Phoenix" and it delivers solid performance at a competitive price point.
The GeForce GTX 1060 Phoenix features a compact PCB which measures about 18 centimeters in length. According to ASUS, this model is perfect for mini-ITX and SFF systems.
The cooler is made from aluminum and the air is pushed through the cooler from one 80mm fan. Checking the clock speeds we find reference frequencies in order to keep the heat and the power at a reasonable level. Like the Founders Edition, this card also comes with one DisplayPort 1.4 connector, two HDMI 2.0b connectors and one dual-link DVI port.
The GeForce GTX 1060 Phoenix should hit the market very soon. So far ASUS has not revealed any details on pricing but since this card doesn't feature a heavily reworked design, we believe it will not be expensive.
