Samsung unveils CJ791 curved display

With Thunderbolt 3

Ahead of the CES 2018, Samsung has unveiled the first monitor with Intel Thunderbolt 3 connectivity. The new Samsung CJ791 is a 34-inch curved screen model, featuring the Intel 40Gbps USB Type-C interface which can be used for both video signal and power delivery.



As we already mentioned the CJ791 monitor has been equipped with a 34-inch panel supporting 3440 x 1440 Pixels and it features a 1500R curvature. There is no HDMI port on this display, there is only USB Type-C interface that can use for video and power signal. The panel can reproduce a 125 per cent sRGB spectrum and has a 178-degree viewing angle. At the moment there isn't informations regarding contrast ratio, refresh rate and brightness.

So far Samsung has not revealed details on pricing and availability on their CJ791 monitor but we are sure we will know more during next week.
