PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) for PC will reach version 1.0 in late December, leaving behind its "Early Access" status on Steam. The download count for the multiplayer combat game has been estimated to be around 19.3 million according to SteamSpy and it has broken the record for concurrent players on Steam already in last September.
At this time there aren't many information about what will be included in the 1.0 of the game and what kind of features you will find. According to latest rumors, the upcoming version should include features like vaulting over obstacles, ballistics overhaul, vehicle driving changes and improvements to stability and performance. The test servers running version 1.0 should start running already on this week.
Creator and creative director of PUBG Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene said that he doesn’t like games that stay in Steam Early Access for several years, this is why he is going to launch the 1.0 version before the end of 2017. During the same month we should see PUBG even on Xbox One but it will be available as "Xbox Game Preview Program". The development team will release updates and improvements on regular basis but that won't happen in the beginning.
