NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti spotted in AotS database

No details on clock speeds

According to the Ashes of the Singularity database, benchmark results on a NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti have surfaced. In the case you missed earlier news, the NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti should become available by the end of October and it should fill the gap between the GTX 1070 and the GTX 1080 graphics card.

Having a look at the screenshots we see that this card has been tested using the 1440p resolution in combination with the extreme preset. Apart from that it appears the levels of detail were set on high level, while the tests were conducted using DirectX 11.

Judging by the final score it definitely looks like the upcoming GTX 1070 Ti is going to perform quite a bit quicker than the GTX 1070 but is a little bit slower than the GTX 1080. According to the Ashes of the Singularity database, the average score of a GTX 1080 is around 7'000 points while a GTX 1070 hits 5'000 points.

The upcoming GTX 1070 Ti has scored 6'200 points in the same scenario but the score doesn't really tell us much since there isn't any information about the clock speeds or the drivers. According to latest rumors, the GTX 1070 Ti will be based on the GP104 Pascal chip with 2432 CUDA cores, along with 152 TMUs and 64 ROPs. The TDP of the 1070 Ti should be the same 180W like with the GTX 1080, while the Clock/Boost frequency is set to 1607MHz/1683MHz.

At the moment there isn't any additional information on this subject but we'll certainly keep an eye on future developments.
