Corsair has updated their Vengeance DDR4 memory lineup with modules that come with a heatspreader kept in white. The new series includes seven models with frequencies ranging from DDR4-3000 to DDR4-3600. Apart from that the kits are available in different capacities, where the smallest is a 2 x 8GB kit and it goes all the way up to 8 x 16GB.
According to Corsair, all the new memory kits are compatible with Intel’s 100-series, 200-series, and X299 chipset based motherboards. The motherboard compatibility list includes a selection of Z270 and X299 motherboards yet the lower-end boards like H270 or B250 chipset based models are not included. So far it’s unclear if Corsair is going to release an AMD Ryzen certified line of memory kits in the case of their white Vengeance RGB series.
The lighting is controlled via Corsair's Link software, while the connection is established through the SMB bus. Therefore no wires are necessary. The Link software allows the user to change the settings with just a few clicks. In the case of the Corsair Vengeance LED memory there are several options that can be selected like, for example you can choose which base color to use, the response time of the lighting bar can be altered or you can link the temperature of your system to the color on the memory.
The Vengeance RGB DDR4 modules are available with 3000 MHz or 3200 MHz with CL16-18-18-36 timings or 3600 MHz with CL18-19-19-39 timings. There are 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB kits. All the kits should be available already.
