Gigabyte is updating their Aorus line of graphics cards with models that come with WindForce 3X coolers. The upcoming Aorus GTX 1060 sports a triple-fan cooler with black and orange color scheme. In addition the card comes with a solid backplate.


According to latest information, it appears that Gigabyte will release an updated version of the GTX 1060. The new version of the Aorus GTX 1060 is supposed to be equipped with a WindForce 3X cooler, which can be found on several other Gigabyte graphics cards as well. The card features a dual slot heatsink and a dense aluminum fin stack that has been combined with three fans (WINDFORCE cooler). The entire cooler has been kept in black and it will pack a solid backplate.

While the GTX 1060 Founders Edition works at 1506MHz/1708MHz Core/Boost frequencies, the Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1060 comes with a decent factory overclock running at 1632MHz/1860MHz Core/Boost frequencies. The card features three DisplayPort 1.4 connectors, one HDMI 2.0 and a DVI port.

As of today there is no date available when this card will hit the shelves of your local retailer.
