Razer downsizes its Blade Pro laptop

Razer Blade Pro FullHD now available

Razer has added another model to their portfolio of Blade Pro series of laptops. The Blade Pro FullHD is a smaller version of the original Blade Pro, which is equipped with a UHD touchscreen panel. As the name of the Blade Pro FullHD suggests this model makes use of a FullHD panel and apart from that the components have been downsized as well to make this an affordable notebook.

Featuring a FullHD display, which also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC makes for an interesting combination and allows for smooth gaming. Looking into the specifications a little bit deeper we find a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU with 6GB of GDDR5 memory and furthermore there is an Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU as well as 16GB of DDR4 memory. Apart from that there are several options to choose from in the storage department, which range from one 256GB NVMe SSD drive to up two 2TB drives in a RAID array, offering ridiculous throughputs.

Looking at the exterior there is an aluminum unibody giving this notebook sleek looks and making it only 0.88 inches (2.23 centimeters) slim. Furthermore Razer equips the Blade Pro FullHD with a low-profile keyboard with individually backlit keys. Looking for the connectivity options there are three USB 3.0 ports, one Thunderbolt USB Type-C port, one HDMI 2.0, a card reader and 3.5mm headphone jack. Razer sports the same chassis as the 4K version, but it's a bit lighter and it weighs only 3.1 kilograms.

The Razer Blade Pro FullHD will become available next month with a price tag of $2'300 US.
