Samsung unveils three displays

Business oriented

During IFA 2017, Samsung has unveiled three business oriented displays: the 34-inch C34H89, the 27-inch C27H80, and the SH85, available with 27-inch and 24-inch panel. They all feature a very well-built frame, which allows for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment. Furthermore the panel is borderless and the overall design is quite sleek and elegant.

The C34H89 is high-end model of these newly announced displays. It features a 34-inch ultra-wide screen with 1800R curvature. The panel uses VA technology and sports 3440 x 1440 resolution. While the C27H80 has a 27-inch diagonal once again with 1800R curvature and a VA panel, it “only” comes with 1920 x 1080 resolution. The C34H89 and the C27H80 share the same frame and stand, they are basically the same monitor but with a different panel. On the connector side of things we find one DisplayPort 1.2 as well as a one USB Type-C connector.

The SH85 comes in two flavors with flat panel: the 27-inch S27H85 and the 24-inch S24H85. The resolution is 2560 x 1440 regardless of panel size. Samsung didn't mention which panel these models make use of. Like the other two models, there is one DisplayPort that is required for video connectivity and one USB Type-C port which can be used in combination to laptops, tablets and mobile devices for content exchange.

The three displays also support Samsung's Easy Setting Box screen-splitting application. So far Samsung has not revealed details on pricing and availability on their displays but we are sure we will get to know more during next weeks.
