During a video broadcast Intel placed some very subtle hints as to when the the six core and twelve thread Coffee Lake are due for release. On a picture we can see a coffee cup with “10 2017” printed on it which most likely implies the month when it’s time for a “coffee break”.
There are already countless rumors out there making the rounds and it looks like Intel is adding to that themselves this time. Chipzilla is actually not known for placing subtle hints in presentations or even broadcasts to say the least. Nevertheless it looks like this has changed and guerilla marketing is becoming more common also in the Intel camp.
What’s maybe also worth showing in this context are the two images showcasing the box art of the upcoming Core i7 and Core i5 mainstream processor packaging. Intel has redone the artwork to a certain extent and the Core i7 logo now appears in a more aggressive shade of red.
