The TN panel is from AU Optronics M250HTN01, with a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and 400 cd/m2 brightness. ViewSonic is marketing this display as a gaming monitor and it supports AMD FreeSync. According to some reddit user, this display might be set to 2560 x 1440 pixel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

A quick look at the connectors reveals one HDMI 1.4, one HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.2a connector. On top of that there is a very well-built thin frame and the stand allows for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment. The XG2530 is slowly getting available worldwide at a price that will be under $500 dollar.
