Project Cars 2 to run 4K at 80 fps on a Titan Xp

Better performance than predecessor

During E3, Namco Bandai has released a trailer showcasing Project Cars 2 which is going to become available September 22 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. According to the users who have early access to the game, Project Cars 2 hits 80 to 90 fps at 4K with a NVIDIA Titan X Pascal even if features like rain as well as day and night cycle are enabled.

The is going to be released right after summer and it will come with over 200 playable tracks, more than 180 cars and 9 different racing disciplines. According to a blog post on projectcarsgame.com, we know which cars are going to be available and there will be some epic models. A few days ago, the system requirements have been unveiled as well and they might change before the game launch. According to projectcarsgame.com, the recommended specifications include an Intel Core i7-6700K, 16GB or RAM, 50GB of disk space and a NVIDIA GTX 1080 or a an AMD RX 480. Since the RX Vega is not out yet, we expect to see this card in the recommended specifications soon. The RX 480 is a good graphics card but it's definitely not on the same level as the GTX 1080.

According to NeoGAF's user "Rayge", Project Cars 2 can run at 120 fps at 4K/UHD with Ultra settings on a NVIDIA Titan X Pascal. Furthermore he did also a quick run during night time with heavy rain and several cars hitting 80 to 90 fps using the same graphics card and settings. Judging from this performance data, it looks like Project Cars 2 is going to perform a lot better than its predecessor. Following you can find a video from the user "Rayge":
