Acer adds new ProDesigner BM320 monitor

Featuring 4K IPS panel

Acer has expanded its monitor lineup with a new model featuring a 32-inch panel with 3840 x 2160 resolution and an IPS panel. According to Acer the display covers 100 percent of the Adobe RGB, sRGB and Rec 709 color spectrum and a few other color standards.

As we already mentioned the ProDesigner BM320 monitor has been equipped with a 32-inch panel and 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution. There is one DisplayPort 1.2 connector, one HDMI 2.0 port, one DVI port and five USB 3.1 which offers video and data connectivity. According to Acer, the display comes with a contrast ratio of 100'000'000:1 and 350 cd/m2 brightness. Acer is marketing this display for content creators and the fact that the panel covers 100 percent of the Adobe RGB color spectrum is certainly a commitment into that direction.

Since this isn't a gaming monitor, you will not find support for either FreeSync or G-Sync. On top of the convincing specs there is a very well-built thin frame, which allows for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment. Furthermore it is compatible with VESA mounts making this display ideal for multi-monitor configurations if required. The new Acer ProDesigner BM320 should be soon available for $1300 US.
