Gigabyte Aorus RX 580 XTR has been pictured

Featuring a massive heatsink

A user on Reddit has posted a few pictures of the new Gigabyte Aorus RX 580 XTR graphics card, which is - apparently - a refresh of the RX 480 graphics card. According to the pictures, the Gigabyte Aorus RX 580 XTR features a massive heatsink with a dense aluminum fin stack and several heatpipes.

The card features a dual slot heatsink and a dense aluminum fin stack that has been combined with two fans (WINDFORCE cooler). The entire cooler has been kept in black and the card will come with a back plate. The PCB itself looks pretty big and since there is a huge cooler it might feature a solid power design. This GPU will come with a factory overclock, although at this time the stock clock speeds of this RX 580 are still unknown.

The card features RGB lighting and it also comes with three DisplayPort connectors, one HDMI and a DVI port. AMD is expected to launch their RX 500 series of GPUs during the next week, although it's still not clear if this will be just a paper launch or a full on hardware launch.
