AMD's Ryzen stock coolers have appeared online, showcasing their new cooler design. According to latest reports from HardwareBattle, two of them might use Intel-style push-pins and the third one comes with a different retention kit. The coolers need to be capable of removing either 65 or 95 Watts of TDP depending on the model.


Compared to the old coolers, which were used for the K10/FX series chips it looks like the design has been improved. The largest of these new coolers looks like a new variant of AMD's Wraith cooler, while the other two coolers are a bit smaller and more traditional looking. Checking out the images, these new coolers will feature a LED fan or a LED lighting.

AMD's Raja Koduri has also been pictured with a Maingear PC that uses an AMD Ryzen based system. The image is pretty clear and shows an AMD CPU cooler with purple illumination. Since purple products are quite rare and uncommon maybe AMD might use RGB LEDs.

These coolers would be supposed to deal with a lineup that include 17 SKUs: five 8-core CPUs, four 6-core CPUs and eight 4-core CPUs. Since there are several "Black Edition" CPUs with Extended Frequency Range (XFR) technology enabled, AMD could bundle the bigger cooler with these CPUs. XFR automatically overclocks Ryzen, allowing it to exceed the default Turbo clock speed.

It appears that the updated Wraith unit might be called "HS81", the standard 95W unit "HS65" and the 65W cooler "HS55". Following you find the images. Apparently these are no high-end coolers. It could very well be that those are the units AMD will supply if somebody buys a boxed version of a new Ryzen CPU.
