During the CES 2017 Corsair has announced a few new products including mice, keyboards and power supplies. During the past years Corsair has introduced several new power supplies and lately they are also pushing with SFX units. Following the trend, they’re also showing new gaming peripherals with RGB lighting effects.
At CES 2017 Corsair has released two new power supplies, one 80+ Platinum rated for the HX series and one 80+ Gold rated belonging to their TX series. Both units feature a black metal chassis with grey accents, making it suitable for all the modern gaming PCs. The new HX model is rated at 750W with 80+ Platinum efficiency and uses a fully modular design. While the TX650M with 80+ Gold efficiency is equipped with a semi-modular design. Both units will be available in Q1 2017, with 10 and 7 years of warranty, respectively.
On the peripherals side, Corsair has also shown two more gaming products. The K95 RGB Platinum keyboard is their new flagship model. It comes with an anodised aluminum frame and Cherry-MX switches. The K95 will be available with black or gunmetal finish and Cherry-MX Speed or Brown switches. Corsair will release this new keyboard in late January 2017 with 2 year warranty.
In addition they also introduced the new Scimitar Pro RGB gaming mouse. This new model is designed for MMO, MOBA and RTS games. Since there are 17 programmable buttons it’s supposed to be useful not only for gamers. The Scimitar Pro RGB has been equipped with a PMW3367 PIXART 16000 DPI optical sensor and features RGB lighting effects. On the official Corsair webstore you can already find it for 89.99 USD.
