On their official Facebook page, Gigabyte have shown another little preview on their upcoming Intel Z270 motherboards. So far there is only a little teaser which is showing a few parts of a new gaming motherboard. According to what we can see from the picture, it looks pretty clear that Gigabyte wants to add some “more style" using LEDs and lighting.
The image shows a motherboard that might feature an ATX form-factor and comes with four DIMM slots. Furthermore the image suggests that there is a fully-packed layout with a ton of additional chips. Apart from that, according to the labels printed on the PCB, there will be at least two PCIe slots as well as a M.2 slots.
Speaking about cooling, we see four 4-pin PWM headers which are very close to each other. In addition there is a 4-digit Debug LED and a few different buttons. Apart from that we can already name a few features. Starting from on the left side of the picture we can see the Ultra Durable PCIe Armor, after that there is the so called Ambient Surround LED around memory as well as the CPU socket.
There isn’t any detailed information available on this particular model, yet it appears that this could be the new high-end model regarding Gigabytes Kaby Lake line-up.
