A few days ago Cooler Master has announced the launch of the MasterCase Maker 5t. Right after showing the flagship model, Cooler Master has announced the MasterBox 5t. Like for the Maker 5t, the MasterBox 5t is based on the original mid-tower launched that was introduced a few months ago. Overall the MasterBox 5t is a case for budget-minded gamers.
The new MasterBox 5t is an aggressive looking mid-tower, kept in black and red. It measures 514 x 220 x 541mm and it’s compatible with ATX motherboards. Having a look at the cooling side of this case, we see enough space for a big radiator in the front and two more in the top and at the rear part. Although this is a mid-range case, according to the pictures, there is also enough space for high-end tower coolers like the V8 GTS which is pretty big in terms of size.
The internal layout is the same that you can find with the MasterBox 5, which means that you can install a single 2.5" SSD and two 3.5"/2.5" SSDs. In general the MasterBox 5t is an upgraded version of the basic MasterBox Series. The only thing that really sets this case apart from other MasterBox Series models is the color scheme and the more aggressive front panel.
The MasterBox 5t should be available at local retailers by the beginning of December 2016 for a suggested price of £74.99.
