AMD X370 motherboards during New Horizon event?

AMD Zen launch is pretty close

AMD has announced its New Horizon event that will take place December 13th. This event is going to be streamed on Twitch, while being hosted by Gametrailers journalist Geoff Keighley. According to latest reports, it looks like AMD will show Zen-based CPUs as well as Summit Ridge during the event.

So far it appears that during the New Horizon event we could see a small number of motherboards based on the new AM4 socket and X370 chipset. The X370 chipset is going to be the upcoming flagship model providing overclocking features and two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots for multi-GPU setups. Right after the X370, there are the B350 and A320 for mid-range and entry-level chipsets respectively. All the new chipsets should bring support for native M.2 NVMe and SATA Express, PCIe 3.0, DDR4 memory and USB 3.1 ports.

The New Horizon event will take place three weeks before CES 2017 and we are more than curious to see how the upcoming FX processors perform compared to the old Bulldozer models as well as in comparison with Kaby Lake.
