It appears that EVGA has now officially release all BIOS updates for its GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 graphics cards which should address issues with VRM temperature.
While some graphics cards got the BIOS update at the beginning of this month, EVGA has now released a total of 19 primary BIOS updates and 6 secondary BIOS updates, all of which address certain issues but mostly focused on updating the fan speed profile in order to keep the VRM well cooled and fix issues seen with high temperature on the VRM part of certain graphics cards.
The list also includes a couple of BIOS updates for EVGA Geforce GTX 1060 series graphics cards as well.
As you know, EVGA's graphics cards with ACX 3.0 cooler were only affected with the VRM overheating issue but it would be wise to check out all those BIOS updates and flash your card to the latest one.
