Two new AMD graphics cards spotted as prototypes

Mobile Ellesmere and Radeon Pro SSG

Two new AMD GPUs prototypes have been spotted in transit records by Zauba suggesting that we might see some new graphics cards from AMD soon.

According to details provided by Zauba.com., the GPUs spotted in shipping in India both include Dracarys in their name, suggesting that AMD might have decided to use a thing or two from a popular Game of Thrones TV series.

According to the description, the first GPU uses Fiji ASIC and SSD, indicating that this could be AMD's new Radeon Pro SSG, a new professional graphics cards that could use SSD for frame-buffer.
The second one is described as Ellesmere XT MXM, which is a mobile graphics graphics on MXM form-factor that could be based on a fully-enabled Polaris 10 GPU, which means it will end up with 2,304 Stream Processors and practically be an RX 480 in a mobile form-factor.

Unfortunately, there are still no more details regarding these new graphics cards but AMD is definitely gearing up for a launch or two. AMD is using its Polaris GPU to get in every part of the market, except for the high-end, where the upcoming Vega GPU should come.
