Battlefield 1 sells better than BF4 and Hardline

More users playing it

According to the report, Battlefield 1 has sold more copies in its first week than Battlefield 4 and Hardline combined, making it one of the most popular releases in the series.

Battlefield 1, which is set in World War I, has been getting good reviews and is actually working surprisingly well on most hardware. It also helps that EA has managed to fix servers and release a patch right after the game released to the world.

According to the BFStats.com site, there are currently around 390,000 online players on PS4, Xbox One and the PC, which is definitely higher than both Battlefield 4 and Hardline, even when they are combined.

EA certainly scored big with Battlefield 1 as the game has both great multiplayer as well as a decent singleplayer campaign, something that similar recent games lacked.
