Samsung announces two gaming quantum dot monitors

The 24- and 27-inch monitors with 144Hz and FreeSync

Samsung has announced two new gaming monitors that will be using its quantum dot screen technology, the 24- and 27-inch CFG70 series curved monitors with 1920x1080 resolution, 144Hz and support for AMD FreeSync.

According to what we know so far, both monitors will feature a 1,800R curvature and be based on a 1920x1080 resolution VA-panel with 1ms response time, 178-degree viewing angles, 144Hz refresh rate and support for AMD FreeSync.

Thanks to the quantum dot technology, both will feature a 125 percent sRGB spectrum and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio.

Both monitors will also come with two HDMI and single DisplayPort inputs as well as a dual-hinge arm that will allow 140mm vertical, 20 degree tilt and 90 degree swivel adjustments.

Unfortunately, we did not get any details regarding the actual price of these new quantum dot gaming monitors from Samsung but we will surely keep an eye on them.
