Working on a fix
MSI has removed its motherboard Kaby Lake BIOS updates from its support page in order to fix an error that was found in the code and is currently working on a fix.
According to a report from Computerbase.de, it appears that MSI has found some bugs in its recently published motherboard BIOS updates meant to bring support for Intel's next-generation LGA 1151 Kaby Lake CPUs on over 30 MSI 100-series chipset motherboards based on Z170, B150 and H110 Express chipsets.
MSI is currently working on a fix and new fixed BIOS updates should be available soon but in case you have already downloaded the new update you should revert back to the old one, just in case something is seriously wrong with them.
It is good that MSI managed to catch the issue ahead of Kaby Lake launch so motherboards will be ready when those new desktop CPUs start appearing in retail/e-tail.
