Alphacool has unveiled a rather interesting new Eisbrecher radiator series that houses the radiator inside a special enclosure which should provide significantly quieter operation.
According to Alphacool, the new Eisbrecher radiator series will be available in 120mm, 240mm and 360mm versions and feature a copper radiator core housed inside a aluminum chassis with honeycomb grill with special A.B.M (Air Breaker Mat) technology.
Alphacool claims that the A.B.M technology ensures even distribution of air as it works like a fan shroud that breaks the incoming air and distributes it evenly across the radiator, making is suitable for slow-revolving fans where it should show its peak performance.
The big part of the development was influenced by feedback from the modding community, which tends to customize and paint radiators so the aluminum frame on the Eisbrecher radiator series is easily removable. The power input on the front side of the Eisbrecher radiator series is used to power the LED Alphacool logo on the radiator shroud.
While currently only available in 120mm, 240mm and 360mm versions, Alphacool has promised that 140mm versions are incoming as well as LT versions that will further fill the gaps in the lineup.
Currently the Eisbrecher radiator series 120mm, 240mm and 360mm versions are available with a price set at €68.98, €93.99 and €118.99, respectively.
