We suspected that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided would be a part of some AMD bundle and now the company has announced that it will be coming with its 6- and 8-core FX-series CPUs.
This is somewhat a surprise as Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be one of the rare games that will support DirectX 12 when the patch comes later in September.
According to AMD, the new bundle will be available with select retail/e-tail stores and system integrators and include a copy of the new Deus Ex: Mankind Divided game with purchase of AMD's 6-core and 8-core FX-series CPU.
The promotion will run from August 23 to November 14 or until AMD runs out of free Deus Ex: Mankind Divided codes.
AMD obviously want to push its sales of FX-series CPUs and it does not sound like a bad deal, especially considering that you get US $60 game with a US $100 priced 6-core FX-6300 or US $130 priced 8-core FX-8320, one of the most popular FX-series CPUs.
AMD also might bundle Deus Ex: Mankind Divided with some of its Polaris graphics cards when the DirectX 12 patch becomes available as the game could certainly use it, considering it needs some serious hardware even to get playable framerates at 1080p resolution.
