Nvidia mobile GTX 1080 coming soon

With GDDR5X memory

According to the latest information, it appears that Nvidia could launch its new mobile Geforce GTX 1080 graphics card soon, as an MSI upcoming notebook was spotted with two of these GPUs.

According to the latest information, the mobile GTX 1080 should be similar to the desktop part and feature the same 8GB of GDDR5X memory but work at slightly lover clocks. According to the leaked slide, it two of these GPUs should give out around 9300 points in 3DMark 11 FireStrike Extreme benchmark.

The MSI notebook that has been spotted with two of these GPUs is called the MSI GT83VR Titan SLI and it should be a proper desktop-replacement, at least with those specifications.

The new MSI notebook and probably Nvidia's latest mobile GTX 1080 GPU, are expected to be unveiled on August 15th.
