MSI has teased a couple of new gaming notebooks, which will be a part of MSI's GT, GS, GE and GP series and feature some high-end hardware making them VR-ready.
According to MSI, these new gaming notebooks will feature new components, improved performance and the latest cooling design. Currently, MSI is not revealing a lot of information regarding the hardware but we suspect that most of them will be based on Intel's Core i7-6820HK CPU as well as Nvidia's upcoming Pascal-based mobile GPUs, like the GTX 1070 and the GTX 1060.
The list includes plenty of notebooks from the aforementioned lineup, including the GTT83VR, GT73VR, GT72VR, GT62VR, GT72VR, GT62VR, GS73VR, GS63VR, GE72VR, GE62VR and the GP62MVR. As you can see, all notebooks will have a VR suffix, so we expect a heavy focus on VR-gaming, probably something that Nvidia will push hard with its new Mobile Pascal GPUs.
Some of the notebooks will be also using the new Cooler Boost 4 cooling design, which features the new Whirlwind fans and up to 12 heatpipes, allowing them to cope with extra heat from high-end components.
MSI will also equip the new GT73VR Dominator notebook with a 120Hz panel which will be available in both standard and 4K/UHD versions. There are plenty of other updates including Nahimic 2, Audio Boost 2, Audio Boost AMP, ESS SABRE HiFi Audio and Dynaudio speakers when it comes to sound as well as upgrade to the keyboard.
We expect all these notebooks to be officially unveiled during Gamescom show in Cologne, which kicks off on August 17th.
