We already knew that there will be plenty of custom Radeon RX 480 graphics cards and today we have a chance to check out the XFX RX 480 Double Dissipation version with custom PCB and dual slot cooler.
As expected and as its name suggests, the cooler on the XFX RX 480 Double Dissipation will feature two aluminum fin-stacks that transfer the heat from a copper base via four 6mm copper heatpipes and are cooled by two 90mm fans. The fans can be simply removed for cleaning even without having to remove the shroud.
The custom PCB will feature a 6-phase VRM with International Rectifier DirectFETs drawing power form a single 8-pin PCIe power connector. As expected, the XFX RX 480 Double Dissipation will have 8GB of memory and feature a hefty factory-overclock, pushing the GPU well above 1300MHz.
XFX is expected to launch the RX 480 Double Dissipation sometime later this week.
