CoolChip shows Kinetic CPU cooler for Skylake CPUs

Low profile CPU cooler for up to 70W TDP CPUs

CoolChip Technologies has teased its new low profile Kinetic CPU cooler for Skylake CPUs, which will combine heatsink and fan in a single unit.

Such design, where a part of the heatsink rotates and provides both direct cooling and acts as a fan by providing airflow is not anything new as we have seen similar prototypes back last year, but this is the first actual product that could be available soon.

While CoolChip showed the new Kinetic CPU cooler for "locked" Skylake CPUs (70W TDP) at its Facebook page, it did not provide any specific details. According to what we can see from pictures, it will be quite compact and available in a couple of different colors.

CoolChip Technologies claims that the Kinetic CPU cooler will be coming soon so we will keep a closer eye on it and hopefully we will see one in action soon.
