New GPU-Z 0.8.9 brings Polaris support

Overclocking support for GTX 1070/1080

Techpowerup has released the latest version of its GPU information, monitoring and diagnostic utility, the GPU-Z 0.8.9, which brings both support for upcoming AMD Polaris GPUs as well as support for Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 graphics cards and more.

In addition to the support for the upcoming AMD Radeon graphics cards based on Polaris GPU, the new GPU-Z 0.8.9 also adds support for Geforce GTX 1070 and an ability to read overclock values on both the Geforce GTX 1070 and the Geforce GTX 1080 graphics cards. It also adds support for Nvidia's Quadro M200 and AMD E8860 and brings plenty of fixed issues.

The new GPU-Z 0.8.9 also has added support for BIOS reading on the Geforce GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 and fixed memory monitoring which has been resetting beyond 4GB. It fixes double default memory clock on the GT220/240 and double memory clock on GTxxx graphics cards with GDDR5X memory. There is also a fixed typo in BIOS saving dialog and fixed "no GPU selected" issue in dropdown in some rare cases.

As always, the new GPU-Z 0.8.9 is available in standard and ASUS ROG Edition skins and can be found over at Techpowerup.com via link below.
