According to the latest rumor report, Nvidia's upcoming Geforce GTX 1060 could end up with 6GB of GDDR5 memory on a 192-bit memory interface.
With AMD Polaris 10 just around the corner, Nvidia is preparing its newest mid-range graphics card, the Geforce GTX 1060. Based on the GP106 GPU, the latest shipping manifest also suggest that the GTX 1060 could end up with 6GB of memory on a 192-bit memory interface.
The listings show E2914 and PG410 boards which provide some insight into details of the upcoming Geforce GTX 1060 graphics cards. Spotted by Videocardz.com, these listing suggest that we could also see two different SKUs, one with 4GB and one with 6GB of memory.
While earlier revealed Inno3D roadmap showed only a single GTX 1060 SKU, Nvidia might have changed its mind but nothing is carved in stone as these are just early rumors.
Nvidia needs the GTX 1060 in order to counted AMD's Polaris 10-based RX 480 and we are sure that these cards will be ready soon.
